We are honored by your visit here today
And take this opportunity to once again say,
We are proud of our club in Tappahannock Virginia
But know it could be China or Macedonia.
The Rotarian way transcends place and time,
It has flourished worldwide in every clime,
Its dedication to service and 4 way test
Has helped it to be, always the best,
Seeking ever only that which is true
And fair to all men in everything we do,
Spreading goodwill with benefit to all,
Is always followed as our highest call,
With International for the greatest good
Balanced with local needs as we should,
Working with youth and single mothers
And hungry fellow sisters and brothers,
Working with scouts and high school students,
To reach their goals with local endorsements,
Supporting the Free clinic nurses and docs
As they negotiate the economic shocks,
Spreading goodwill as we work to raise funds
With barbeque and fishing and crab race runs,
We support fellows with humor and good will
As we grow the club and try to instill,
Rotarian values in new members and old
And bring the community into the fold
So we extend the hand of fellowship today
To you as a leader of our Rotarian way.
